Who's That Pug?
When my husband, Matt, started shooting the photos for this site, I never considered that Rainey, my beautiful, one-eyed foster puglet, would want to get in on the act. As a foster mom for the Central Florida Pug Rescue (www.centralfloridapugrescue.org), it is my "job" to care for rescued pugs until they are adopted to their forever families. Rainey is my third foster and will be the hardest to let go for so many reasons.
Believe it or not, Rainey and I are alot alike. We both are very passionate about the people and things we love. Our favorite place to be is snuggled under the covers and, most importantly, we're never late for dinner! :)
Rainey may only have one eye, but she sees so much. She comforts me and I comfort her. She plays hard and sleeps deep. She smiles bright and is always available for a hug.
There are times when I'm called upon to use my gift to bring comfort, to "sing a hug" to someone who has experienced hurt. I'm asked to use my voice to celebrate a birthday or an accomplishment in business and, sometimes, I'm just asked to sing. Each of these moments are important to me, and I strive to "be the best that I can" for every situation.
Whether covered in sequins or dog hair, I'm truly happy with who I am.
